Opting for a conventional cure for treating acne could cost you a fortune that may in turn cause other skin problems like redness, dryness and irritation so a simpler and easier method would be if you try these remedies by yourself to get rid of them naturally.
Apply Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a commonly used natural remedy for abrasions, rashes, burns and other skin conditions. The leaves of the Aloe Vera plant produce a gel which contains salicylic acid and sulphur, both of the components function in treating acne. You can apply the natural gel twice a day as a moisturizer directly onto your skin after extracting it from the leaf by the help of a spoon. Make sure to rinse your face with clean water before applying the gel.
Use Tea Tree Oil
Applying Tea Tree Oil to the skin helps in treating acne by fighting bacteria and reducing the inflammation of the skin. It is an essential oil extracted from the leaves of Melaleuca Alternifolia. You can apply this on the acne spots daily by dipping a cotton ball into a mixture of 1 part tea of tree oil with 9 parts of water.
Use Apple cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is made by fermenting apple cider or the unfiltered juice from pressed apples that cater to treating acne by fighting bacteria and viruses from its organic acid. You can use it by mixing one part of apple cider vinegar with 3 parts of water. Let it rest for 5–20 seconds then rinse off thoroughly with water and let it pat dry. Make sure to wash your face before and after applying. You can repeat this process daily once.
Mask it with Honey and Cinnamon
Honey and Cinnamon contain antioxidants that aids in treating acne. They fight bacteria and reduce inflammation which is active acne producing agents. A mixture of 2 tbsp honey with 1 tsp cinnamon can be applied to the face for 10–15 minutes. Wash your face before and after applying the paste thoroughly and pat dry your face.
Apart from these, you can also apply green tea to your skin which is said to be rich in antioxidants that help in treating acne. You should take good care of your skin by keeping it clean. It is believed that cutting down stress levels may also reduce acne and this can be done by getting more sleep, engaging in physical activity, practising yoga and meditation. Moreover, you can also prevent acne by cutting down dairy and fatty products from your diet and follow a low glycaemic load diet.
